The Beach House Hotel is situated in the beautiful village of Side.
Cross the road in front of the hotel and you are on the sandy beach. The beach is very safe for children and provides opportunities for fishing, water skiing and snorkelling.
The Old Village
A minutes walk inland and you can discover the attractive shops in the old village of Side. If you enjoy shopping and bargain hunting, then Side’s main streets lined with myriad shops will surely tempt you. The range of goods and Turkish handicrafts is wide and the jewellery and superb Turkish carpets are justifiably famous.
Weekly Markets
Both Side and nearby Manavgat have weekly markets which will test your ability to barter to the full.
Roman Ruins
Within easy walking distance are the magnificent ruins of the Temples of Apollo and Athena, the Amphitheatre and the ruins of the Forum, Agora and Library. Side is a perfect base for visiting the other nearby archaeological and natural wonders.
Why not visit Aspendos and see the magnificent Roman theatre, still in use today, or Perge with its Roman streets, both within easy reach. Visits to Pamukkale and Cappadocia, two of Turkeys best-known natural visitor attractions, can be arranged from Side.
